Why Abbreviated Presentations Can Lead to Misunderstanding
The Union of Professional Educators (UPE) has been informed that Heads of Schools have been presenting a PowerPoint presentation that contains the same content as the well-known MUT PowerPoint presentation.
We would like to remind all educators, both members and non-members, that Management will not refer to the PowerPoint presentation in relation to the implementation of working conditions, but will instead refer to the actual text of the Collective Agreement.
This means that what is being presented is merely an abbreviated extract and not the actual clauses of the Collective Agreement, which contain greater detail and include sub-clauses that can alter the meaning of the text presented.
