“Efforts and Directives in the Face of Adversity”

Following the trade dispute recorded on the 22nd of January 2024, concerning the lack of cooperation from MCAST management, the union has called for a reconciliation meeting with DIER, which is scheduled for the 1st of February 2024.

In the meantime, the Union has made efforts to find an amicable solution and will await the meeting to see if its demands are met.

In the event of no agreement, the UPE will issue a series of directives. We urge all members to stand in solidarity on this important issue as we work towards a positive resolution.
