The UPE is proud to announce the winner of this year’s Pudina Award is Mr Pierre Fenech of ITS.

He merits this award for his outstanding work in the literary field. 

Mr Fenech has issued letters warning of disciplinary action to ‘recalcitrant’ staff who are members of the UPE and have followed legitimate directives intended to protect their health and safety and professional integrity.

Mr Fenech has furthermore seemed to used his imagination to create a fantasy world of “unofficial industrial action”.  He has transcended the real world where the UPE’s directives were issued in furtherance of another trade dispute it had declared with ITS and affirmed before the Director of Industrial and Employment Relations.

Finally, it would be remiss of us not to mention that our ‘Pudina’ (pudding) comes with a generous helping of sarcasm…
