The Ministry of Education has begun to contact UPE members individually for a face-to-face meeting disregarding the legitimacy and legality of the union’s directives issued to our members.

The Ministry’s actions can only be described as unprecedented intimidation and reflects the sad way educators are treated by their employers. 

We would like to remind all parties concerned that the UPE will stand up for the right to follow legal directives and will safeguard our members’ interests at all times.
