Yesterday, the Union of Professional Educators held a meeting with the College Principal, Profs. James Calleja, and Deputy Principal, Mr. Philip Vella.

The discussion centred around trade disputes that were raised against MCAST due to a lack of cooperation and issues at the IEU Unit (Inclusive Education Unit), which is being required to stay on campus even when students are not physically present.

Discussions are still ongoing, but it is clear that there is a goodwill emanating from MCAST officials. This mode of collaboration is advantageous for enhancing industrial relations.
