LSE Supervision Issue resolved

It is with professional pride that we announce the continuation of supervision remuneration to shared LSEs in State Schools after discussions with the Ministry.

The initial issue arose when SMT members informed LSEs that only those engaged in a 1 to 1 role would be entitled to mid-day break supervision.

After listening to our members, it was evident that there was a pressing problem with the allocation of supervision. We subsequently communicated our concerns to the Ministry that many LSEs would be prevented from receiving the same salary as last year and before the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to our efforts, the matter has been satisfactorily resolved.

All LSEs may perform supervision duties during the mid-day break irrespective of whether they are shared, class LSEs or assigned to 1 to 1 students.
