The Union of Professional Educators has received various reports from Gozitan Educators who have been instructed to travel to Malta to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine. 

This situation cannot be deemed as being acceptable, and the union has proceeded with immediate intervention to resolve the matter. In a direct communication with the Hon Minister herself, the union questioned this unjust procedure. 

The Minister has guaranteed that she will be looking into, and addressing, the situation without delay. The UPE would like to thank the Minister for her prompt intervention on the matter.
